TickScrubo ("we", "our", "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

TickScrubo does not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other identifying information.

Videos and content

• All videos you import into TickScrubo are processed and stored locally on your device only.
• We do not upload, access, or store your videos on any server.
• All scrubbing, playback, and analysis happens entirely on-device.

Purchase information

• Purchase status (Free trial, Activated) is managed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We do not store payment details.
• RevenueCat may receive an anonymous identifier and your purchase receipt to validate your one-time purchase. No personal information is sent.

Device information

• Apple and Google provide aggregate, anonymized usage and crash reports for apps on their stores. We do not collect any additional device data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To validate your one-time purchase via RevenueCat / Apple / Google.
• To provide and maintain the App's features.
• To improve the App and fix bugs based on aggregate, anonymous data from app stores.

3. Third-Party Services

TickScrubo uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — for purchase management and receipt validation.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for payment processing and purchase delivery.

These services may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies.

4. Photo Library Access

• The App requests photo library access to let you import existing videos for review.
• Selected videos are read into the App and used only for the App's core playback functionality.
• The App never uploads selected videos anywhere.
• This permission is never used for tracking or advertising.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All your videos and app data live in TickScrubo's local app storage on your device.
• Deleting the App removes all of this data.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You can stop using the App at any time, and you can request deletion of any data we store about your device.

What data we store

• Anonymous user ID — a random identifier auto-generated by RevenueCat. Not linked to your name, email, phone, or any personal identity.
• Purchase record — confirmation of your one-time purchase, used to restore access if you reinstall TickScrubo or switch devices.

How to request deletion

1. Locate your purchase receipt — Apple App Store order number (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Purchase History) or Google Play order number (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history).
2. Email support@tickscrubo.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include your order number.
3. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

On your request, we delete your anonymous user ID record from RevenueCat. This removes the cached entry on our side.

What is retained

Your purchase itself is retained by Apple App Store or Google Play on their own servers, governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not control or have access to that record. As a result, you can continue to use "Restore Purchase" to regain access to TickScrubo — when you do, a new anonymous record is created on our side from your store receipt. If you want your purchase transaction fully removed, contact Apple or Google directly.

You can also delete the App at any time, which removes all locally-stored data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted at https://tickscrubo.com/privacy with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
